TCC’s Kalianet service operates on the latest technology in data communica- tions, WiMax. Kalianet is available throughout Tongatapu, Ha’apai, Vava’u, and ‘Eua through WiMax broadband, but through dial-up from the two Niuas.

Kalianet offers the following services:

• 2. WiMax Wireless WiFi
• 3. Lease Line
• 4. Website hosting
• 5. E-mail Services, including virtual e-mail server, etc.
• 6. Named (DNS) Services

The latest on TCC’s Kalianet service is the introduction of WiMax 4G (Mobile) Dongle keys. This new service enables customers to connect to the internet through a dongle key that connects to their PC’s USB port. TCC is expecting to roll out this service soon.
