Tonga Communications Corporation is the first company to introduce the Payecomm System . Payecomm is a voucher generating terminal where customers buy selected prepaid values of $1, $2, $5, $10, $20 for their credit top-up or recharge and they receive a Voucher with its AUTHORISATION CODE, instead of the physical phone card. These vouchers work the same way as the ATM vouchers and the normal cards.
These terminals print U-Call ($1, $2, $5, $10,$20 ) and ‘Ofa Atu ($5, $10 )vouchers which can be used for the mobile, Fixed Cellular and Prepaid Fixed Line credit top up. There is also Malo e lelei ( $5, $10 ) vouchers for Postpaid Fixed Land line or normal home phone.
