Prepaid Cards
These cards are also available through the Payecomm.
Purpose: They are used for the Prepaid GSM services on U-Call mobile handsets and the Fixed Cellular Wireless services to increase your talk time. The nature of the U-Call cards is that when you top up your phone, the total face value of the card is transferred into your Pre-paid account.
Available Denominations (TOP): $5, $10, $20, $50, and $100
Purpose: It is used for making telephone calls from PSTN of fixed telephone lines. The Malo e Lelei cards can be used on any TCC home phone and Public Phone booths. The Malo e Lelei cards can also be used to call Tonga (Home direct calls) from New Zealand, Australia and the United States. The nature of the Malo e Lelei card i to deduct credit from your card after each call.
Available Denominations (TOP): $5, $10, $20 and $50
Note that the Malo e Lelei Card has an expiry date. You must use your card before the expiry date stated at the back of your card. If expired, the remaining credit is not refundable or transferrable to any other account.
Purpose: It is used for making telephone calls from PSTN of fixed Prepaid telephone lines. The ‘Ofa atu cards are the same as that of the U-Call cards, the face value of each card is transferred to your account in one go.

Where can we get Manual Recharge? Customers can pay any amount at any of our TCC offices in Tongatapu at Salote Road counter, ‘Unga Road Counter, TCC Centre and our main offices at Vava’u, Ha’apai, ‘Eua and the two Niuas. Please note that at the two Niuas, customers can only manual Recharge their Malo e Lelei cards.
How does a Manual Recharge work? When customers want to top up their mobile phone account or their prepaid fixed line account. They only need to tell the cashiers at our counters their telephone numbers and pay the amount that they want to put into their accounts and they will get a receipt for that transaction. Our cashiers will put in that amount into your account and can be used by the customers after a maximum of 2 minutes. If customers want to recharge their used Malo e Lelei cards, they will need to give our cashiers the card number of the Malo e lelei card and pay the amount they want to put into that account.
How does ATM Top Up?
That’s it, you’ll then hear a message telling you ‘The top-up has been successful’ and you’re ready to talk to a friend.
